On this fourth blog post I will talk about what I learned at school today and what happens at school. The first thing when you get to the school is we go into the school, meet up in the auditorium and we get divided by grade level and then we are dismissed to first period. In first core, Civics and Economics the class and I did a Chapter one cross word puzzle, took notes, did definitions, and took a test on Chapter one. In second core I went to my early college class and the entire class randomly chose a book from the teachers bag. Then if we didn’t like the book we all switched and wrote about in our blog if we did not do it yesterday. Then in third core, Geometry I took a test and made a 92% then made test corrections and made a 98%. After the test and the corrections the class went to lunch and we all bet my friend 41 dollars that he wouldn’t drink pickle juice, mustard, mayonnaise, grape juice, orange juice, chocolate milk, pickles, apple sauce, a grape vine, doritos, sun chips, and bits of ham sandwich. In fourth and the final core, Public Speaking we presented our “me bags” which is when we put five of our favorite items and write a speech about it. I presented six items though and they were a paintbrush, a Pokeball, a Yu-Gi-Oh card, a Magwa wallet from the movie Gremlins, Chewbacca’s head from Star Wars, and a Batman cup holder. The class and I also had to write a review about each person and how they did during their presentation. After all the classes at the end of the day everyone meets up in the auditorium and the principle says the announcements and dismisses us.
For the class posts, you should focus on one class and elaborate on what happened. You could talk about what Chapter 1 is about or how you felt about the books you chose. What do you think of doing test corrections? How did you do better? The lunch bet would be better in the random category, but I'd kind of like to know if your friend took the bet!
