I am going to talk about what my two coolest things to ever come in my house. The first coolest thing is a snake named Dorkis. He was the first snake the family has ever had. We decided to get the second snake when our cat Duncan No Nuts ran away. Which comes to the second coolest thing, our snake Crystal Gayle. I asked why we named decided to name her Crystal Gayle they said and I quote “Because we are old.”
Now that I have told you what they are named it is time to tell you why owning a snake is a fun and rewarding experience for the whole family or even just you. Now the two snakes I own are both ball pythons, but both of them are called differently because their color. For example: Dorkis is called a pastel and Crystal is a butter. And that is the first reason you should have one. Some have cool names and also you could choose the colors, patterns, and the designs that best represent you and your new pet.
The second reason is there is all kinds of snakes to choose from like ones that get 10 ft long or ones that only get smaller than 2 ft long. The third reason is you should think about getting is a snake is the price to get one. Some can be cheap some can be expensive. For example: Dorkis was 65$ which isn’t bad because I have seen some go as much as 3000$. But that is nowhere close to what we paid for Crystal Gayle. She is a rare breed of ball python and we paid 260$ for her.
The fourth reason to get a slithering friend is practicing for a future job or hobby. The two reason my step-dad got one because he was terrified and wanted to face his fears. The other reason he got one is one day he hopes to become a herpetologist and work with snakes all day long. And now that he has two pet snakes he is addicted to having them and wants another one.
The only reason I would see not to get a snake is the eating habits. Unless you don’t want to see a cute baby mouse get eaten by a huge snake I would recommend not getting one at all. Another reason I would not recommend a snake is for lazy people that would not clean there box after they pooped and shed their skin everywhere. But me and my family got lucky that they barely poop and when they do shed they do it where it is not scattered all over the place.

Public Speaking Project
When
me and my partner, Brianna were on our way to fourth period which is
Public Speaking. We sat down in our assigned seat and started our
afternoon warm up. After the warm me and Brianna started brainstorming
about a layout and some ideas on what to do about the project. The
project is about we choose a partner and present them with an award. It
can a made up award or one that has been used before. Either way I was
still confused on what to do even though she went over it with me four
times.
The next day we were going to talk about what to do about the project situation but she did not show up for school. Since she missed the day we got behind because she had to copy my notes on what to do and how the teacher wants the outline done. Now that I have talked to the teacher Mr. Paul I now know me and my partner need to write two outlines each and it is due tomorrow. So the next day we talked and we got the project outlines covered, the awards we are going to give each other covered, and how we are supposed to do two outlines in one day almost covered.

Crystal Gayle and Dorkis
I
am going to talk about what my step dad Daniel brought home today. This
evening, when he got home from work, he had a new snake friend for our
other snake Dorcas. We all decided the new snake's name is Crystal
Gayle. Crystal Gayle is a Butter Ball Python and she is a very unique
snake because there are only a couple of thousand like her in the world.
She cost about 260$ because Butter Pythons are such a rare breed. Even
though we just got her I already love her like any other pet I have.
We did not try to put them together because they might fight or not try to get along either one would be bad. She is a crazy snake that loves water and apparently extremely defensive over her new house. It was very difficult when we brought her home because we had to get Dorkis out of his case and put Crystal Gayle in that one and she was not happy. Dorkis was not happy about it either because he has lived in that house since the day we brought him home.
The other messed up thing we can not hold her until she gets settled in, which is tomorrow. But we still can't hold her because she has to eat and if you mess with snakes while they are eating they will probably stop and leave it alone. So I told Daniel I will just play with Dorkis but he is shedding and also about to eat.

Manga
Today I am going to tell you what I have been recently read this week or what I read before, either one. This isn't really a book more of a short manga than anything else. The manga is called “Kingdom Hearts” volume 2 by Shiro Amano. I have never read the first one but I would like to one day because this one was really cool and filled with action.
This book is about a boy named Sora and his friends (Goofy and Donald) to find Sora’s lost friend Riku and Mickey Mouse. The book starts out with the main bad guys that are trying to come up with an idea of what to do about Sora because he has awoken from a deep sleep. But I did not read the first one so I have no idea why he was asleep, how he was awoken and why. So it goes on about them talking about a plan and then it goes to Roxas which is Sora but only in his dreams. It goes to him and his friends hanging out then the bad guys come out in hoods and ambush them.
His friends run off, he gets lost and he gets cornered. He gets all upset and goes crazy powerful and finds out he is the wielder of the ultimate sword or the key blade. The key blade is the only sword that can defeat all enemies and pretty much save Riku and the world. The only other person or thing that can wield the keyblade besides Sora is Mickey Mouse. So the gang goes on to meet a wizard named Merlin to see if he could locate Riku with his magic. After that they go wander around and end up in town with bunch of there friends to fight of evil and save the day.
What I learned this week
I am going to talk about what I learned in class this week. Monday was a mostly boring because we took a math test and then we studied for another test that we are going to take monday.Tuesday was kind of fun because I got to work on my project in fourth period. The project is on a demonstration of any topic. Mine was on balloon animals, I think I did pretty good on it because all my classmates said mine was the best, the day I presented. I also had a lot of time on my demonstration and I had a large variety of balloon animals the teacher the class and I could create together.
Wednesday was the descent day of the week because it was just like any other day nothing good about the day or anything bad about it. Thursday was the fun day because I got to present my demonstration. But there were people after me too for example: Brianna’s demonstration was how to make brownies and they were delicious. Another demonstration I was interested in was my friend Tyler’s. He did his on how to make a no bake jello pudding cookie or something similar to that. Today was the best day of the week which it always is because today was real easy because some of the teachers of the teachers are tired of the week too so they just give us dumb easy things to pass time. Another reason I liked today is because in fourth period while people were doing their presentations I decided to draw Squall Leonhart from FF8. But I did not get to finish it because I did not have enough time and from what I did it turned out extremely incredible. And that is what I technically learned this week.

Class Assignment
This week the class and I read together about the 911 tragedy that occurred at The World Trade Center in New York on September 11, 2001. The title of the article that we read was called Gravity’s Rainbow: The 9/11 Memorial Manages a Delicate Balance Between Grief and Consolation. This article talks about the memorial in New York for the people who died during the attack of the Trade Center. After we were done reading the story the teacher gave us an assignment to create a found poem using this article.
Waterfalls descend
on all four sides of each void.
Drawing your eyes
until it digs you down
to a dark place.
To some degree
of disappointing developments.
But there's more than one way to soar.
Gazing at “The National 9/11 Memorial”
about what happened on the wretched day.
The memorial is a beautiful site to see if you are ever in New York. But if you ever see it be respectful to the ones who have died. The memorial is what looks like two pools and around the two pools there are the victims names that died in the tragedy carved in the sides and all around. The memorial was put on the site of where the 9/11 attack happened and because of that people will walk pass it everyday and remember that awful day. Even though I was about four years old and did not know what was going on, when I was old enough to know this happened I was like where was I when this happened. Because this was such a big deal and still is today and forever. So next time you are in New York or if you ever go see the memorial and have a moment of silence for the people who were killed in the attack.

A story
One
day at my friends house the Hughes family because there are nine of
them, but in this story there are only eight. One cold winter day about
five years ago me, my brother Nicholas, my friend Alijah, his brother
Israel, my friend Alex, and my friend Nathan wanted to do something fun.
So we walked to the store and got ice cream. After that we wanted to
race with bikes but there was snow on the roads.
We tried to go sledding but we didn’t have a sled. But we did find a giant piece of plastic. So we called everybody at my house for the Christmas party right next door to my friends house. To ask what to do with the plastic board. We all drug it up to my house in the backyard, sat on it, and two people would push. But the tricky part was to hold on and dodge the trees.
It was a fun few hours but we all stopped when we hit a big tree that caused us to flip over. But for some reason I was fine, everyone was fine. It looked like we were all on the piece of plastic but it was not under us.
After sledding down on a giant piece of plastic me and my friends wanted to make a fire. So we got in our friend Brandon's truck and we road picking up Christmas trees that people would throw out if they were done with them. We gathered about twelve trees including our own and we stacked them up high. We waited for a few hours until it got about one in the morning and lit them up. My friends bet me I would not jump through it but I did it anyway and now I know not to jump through giant fires you might drop something in it that is valuable to you.

The Class and I
I have recently read an article or short story in class about Why Procrastination is Good. The title is exactly what the story is about, Why Procrastination is Good. The class, the teacher, and I read this story I think yesterday or the day before for EOC practice. I wasn't paying attention that well but from what I heard the teacher say it was somewhat interesting.
This story talks about if procrastinating gets out of hand, what to do about too much of it, how to stop, when is it good or bad, how to keep up with it, and when to finally stop if you want to.
There is a heading about a topic called You looked beyond business to decision- making in sports, comedy, medicine, military strategy, even dating. What did you find? It is a long topic name but it is a strange topic. I did not really get because it was asking questions and the person he was interviewing would put a long answer that I was too lazy to read that day.
After that story the class I answered some questions. After the questions we read another story because we still had time until class ended. We read a story called Dark Brown Dog. This story was fairly good, mostly sad. This story was about a boy finding a dog on the side of the road and he just starts beating the dog wit a stick. But the dog still seems to follow the dog back to his house.
When the boy got home he drug the dog up the stairs to their apartment. When the boys parents got home the dad did not like the dog but the mom didn’t really mind. Later when the mom was out and the boy was not home the dad walked in. Not liking the dog he picked him up by the tail slung him around and tossed him out the window.

A book about Holes
Today in this 11 blog post of A Blog
I am going to talk about a book I have read before. I read it in third
grade and again in sixth but I still remember it. The title of the book
is called Holes by Louis Sachar.
This
book is about a boy named “Stanley Yelnats IV” and the story of how he
was put in a camp for teens that have broken the law. But how he is put
in the camp is not the crazy part of the book. The crazy part is why he
thinks is put in the camp. He believes that there is a century old curse
that was on scent on to the first Stanley Yelnats and now he thinks he
caught the curse.
He
was put in there for stealing very expensive shoes, that he did not
even steal. So he somehow has the shoes in his possession and he is
stuck with a choice, jail or camp. He gets put into camp where he meets a
weird group of friends with there own nickname that best fit their
personality.
There
at the camp you have to dig holes all day in the blazing hot sun for
the owner of the camp. She created this camp so teenagers that have done
bad things will dig holes to find a buried treasure chest that she has
been searching for her whole life. But she is not just searching for
buried treasure, she is also trying to find old artifacts from a cowgirl
“Kissing Kate Barlow”.
It
turns out that “Stanley” and his friend “Hector Zero Zeroni” find the
treasure, but it has “Stanley Yelnats” engraved on the side of it. He
goes home and opens it to find billions of dollars worth of gold and
silver.

Sleeping in class
Today’s
blog is about what I learned in school today so far. From what I
remembered because I was extremely sleepy and bored. First thing we did
today was turn in our 13 colonies project. My project was one of the 13
colonies and I got New Jersey. It was a fairly easy project to do but
some of the information that I had to find was some what difficult. I
think my project at least deserves a 90 if not a 100.
After
we turned in our projects my row made me go get the books to look up
vocab. I did not do any vocab because i was so sleepy but thankfully the
student beside me kept poking me to wake up. When the teacher told
everyone that time was up to finish the vocab I quickly woke up and
pretended to look busy. But the teacher was just talking to me. So she
turned on a couple videos to wake me and my friend up.
The first video we watched was a clip from The Andy Griffith Show. The second one was a very long video of Charlie Brown
and the rest of his friends finding out about the U.S Constitution, The
Articles of Confederation, the different Branches of Government, and
The Declaration of Independence.
Once
all the videos were over my friend and I still went right back to
sleep. A couple minutes the teachers saw us sleeping and she passed out
this sheet to us. It was homework but just for us. Me and my friend
crumble up the paper and thrown it away. Then we went back to sleep.
That is what happened at school today so far. But all of this story is
made up just not the sleeping parts and the video parts.
What I did this Weekend
Today on my ninth post of A Blog
I am going to talk about what I did this weekend. The first thing I did
this weekend was head to my friends house. It was a party there because
it was me, my big brother Nicholas, my friend Alijah, his big brother
Israel, and my friend Alex, we call him the red headed step child. Even
though I was the youngest there all of us still act like kids. Because
the entire time we were all there we played Yu-Gi-Oh. We started around 10:00 pm and ended at 9:00 am. But we took little ten minute breaks once and awhile to play Skyrim.
After all the Yu-Gi-Oh
we decided to go to sleep. But I wanted to stay up, it was maybe two
minutes before I fell asleep in the rocking chair watching Advent Children.
When I woke up by the phone ringing, I answered it. It was my mom to
tell me that she bought tickets for me, her, and my sister and that we
are going to Atlanta to see Jack White in concert. I was extremely
excited because Jack White is one of my favorite singers. When the
conversation was over I went back to sleep.
After
all of us woke up, got some breakfast, and get ready to do whatever.
We went down to our friend Big Adam’s house and have tacos, play some
system link Halo, and enjoy our other friend Aaron’s birthday. So we did
and all of us had a great time but it was time for me to go home. I
asked my mom if Alijah could come over for her and his birthday. She
said yes and we went home to play Final Fantasy 7, got some cake and enjoyed the rest of the weekend.
